A gauzy realm of breathless shadows hollowed out between us fills in time. The starving heartland scratches letters on the window line by line. Here lies a world of blinded eyes and spinning crucifixes, it never felt like mine. One buzzing light to make the dark alluvium stay underneath us, No rolling days over to the angry ones and jaws of rain, we've had enough. Metrical cursing brings the curious to swarm our body heat. They scream like televangelists, the end is always near on ancient screens. Here lies a world of holy war and open veins for broken saints, it never wanted me. One buzzing light to make the dark alluvium stay underneath us, No rolling days over to the angry ones and jaws of rain, we've had enough. Enough, my love. Oh my god, I'll do it again and scavenge for a rival heaven to swallow the falling stars. Oh my body feels the angels yield, thrashing at the way I feel for the ruined revenant you are.

Time turns backwards on our bones, I'm terrified to bring them home And let the light bleach visions white without you. 'Cuz all the times we intersect are not enough until the next. In the grid of afterglow I won't wait alone. Is there safety then, disappearing to the road? We'll never sleep again, we're seeing ghosts. Pushing through the exit wounds of all we're not supposed to do. No unbalanced dreaming now can hurt you. Reeling forward, frantic plans. You get me now, you understand the other side cuts and divides. It loves to. Is there safety then, disappearing to the road? We'll never sleep again, we're seeing ghosts.

Black Lotus 05:26
Tears float on mirrors, I watch them dripping as I scry beneath your kestrel eyes. I'll pin you by your frame, keep you with your nails and name, I've not forgotten what I know. In tranquility, I begged and you came after me with senses never slaked, hexed by your mistake. I cited vicious rites, visions at my bedside. These signs overflow. Glimpsing all you also summon, vengeful spectres humming. I sold my soul to pray for this, I told you I could conjure it Carved initials in the dark, all desire leaves a mark. There is no faith that from your spirit I'll escape but if I'm going down both of us will drown. So draw the cards, ask them what we are, and who will stumble first, which ambition's worse. Now we dissolve the light, running for an afterlife like one we wasted when we made this. Each splinter in your fist, night-blooming bruises come because my sorrow still exists. Insane as you've been driven, will you say your sin should be forgiven? A last resort, the ruptured rapture swooning as it dies. No one saves us from the flood this damned love justifies. I give up, I give in. The darkness in us now will always win.

I see you in the city lights again, making faces at me from the fog. Every shadowed alley understands your outline. You're the opera, on the radio, voice rising like the skyscrapers all around. Your hands are in the breeze, always dancing with me. Will I ever see you again? Will you make it back to me alive? Will I ever see you again? Would it even hurt me to say good-bye? I see you everywhere at night. You walk behind me on the bridge, and sneak up closer in the skyline. Your voice is broken in my head, your words are always on repeat. You're telling me to wait, a little more and you'll be back for me. I wish I could stay, like this, and pray it doesn't take eternity. I try to live alone 'cuz no one takes your place. I try to breathe alone but I can't lose your taste. I try to sleep alone but you keep me awake. I try to dream alone, you call me to the grave. You call me to the grave.
